Monty Python and the Holy Grail
This was maybe the sixth time I watched this film. But for the first time in a movie theater, although on the superfresh 40th anniversary digital remaster.
And, you know, it was made for a small amount of money and it still looks crappy. Some shots were blurry because they couldn’t see what they were filming and there wasn’t second takes. But few of beautiful shots are crystal clear and really, really beautiful.
Aside from technicalities, the humor still works. I realized that some parts were not funny to me as a teenager, but now they work perfectly. It’s good having another look from time to time.
