Avengers: Age of Ultron

Although this film is larger than life, I didn’t expect much from The Avengers, because it is just a collage assembled (pun intended) the best way possible. First one was just one-trick-pony and now the stakes are higher. In the end of the day, I am pleased. I wish that the after-credits scene was longer and better, just for the fact that it didn’t surprise me.

I can see that Whedon thought well the way this story goes, making an homage here and there (Casablanca? Maltese Falcon?), making space for underestimated superheroes that are mildly super, bringing new characters and making old ones feel like our friends that we meet pretty often.

This film is, in that and any other way, a great success.

Iako je ovaj film neviđenih razmera, od Osvetnika ne očekujem mnogo jer je to ipak jedan kolaž sklopljen najbolje što može. Prvi film je bio one-trick-pony i sada je ulog veći. Na kraju dana, zadovoljan sam. Više bih voleo da je aftercredits scena duža i bolja, samo zbog činjenice da se nisam preterano iznenadio.

Whedon je lepo osmislio kuda će filmska priča ići, usput je pravio omaž ovome i onome (Kazablanka? Malteški soko?) dao je prostora nipodaštavanim superherojima koji su osrednje super, uveo je nove likove, a stare doveo do toga da se osećamo kao da su nam prijatelji koje često viđamo.

Ovaj film je u tom i svakom drugom smislu veliki uspeh.
