Not bad for the seventh film in series. The action is bigger, better and louder. There’s more titties, there’s more ass, there’s more cars, there’s more violence. And for a film where dialogues suck donkey’s ass, that is a big accomplishment. There is also a not-so-happy-but-twice-as-sappy ending. Good fun, nothing more.
Somebody please stop Rob Marshall! For heavens sake it’s like he decided to destroy everything good. He does something to every movie so it becomes barely watchable. Richard Curtis film can not go wrong. This is a great homage to pirate radios in the ’60s. And to all of rock’n’roll really. Casting is flawless, story is great, direction and editing superb. I can only regret that I’ve never seen it in a movie theater.

I enjoyed it very much. It has that “The Incredibles” Pixar vibe. But the most satisfying thing is the Marvel signature after credits scene. It just can’t be more fun.
